So, the next question is from Matthew M. He wants to know how does physical therapy compare to options like medications, injections, or surgery?

Honestly, Matt, it’s not really a fair comparison. Each has their own pro and con. There’s individual factors that need to be considered for each. I mean, the severity of pain, your underlying cause, your overall health, and then just preferences. Like, I personally don’t like getting injections, I also don’t like taking medication, so I’m going to try other things first. And then surgery should always be your last option. I mean, there are definitely cases where surgery’s warranted for disc issues, but you want to go conservative first. So, PT, injections, medications, it should all be part of a comprehensive treatment plan. And you know, your therapist should, or doctor, whoever you’re talking to about this, should help guide you through the pros and cons of each. Because it’s all about improving your pain levels, your function, preventing future issues, and you know, getting you back to what you want to do.
